Getting Ready

So many details...things we did not know.

1) You may not stay in Italy more than 90 days for tourism.

2) They have 220 power, so not only do you need new plugs, but also a converter box so they don't blow up your electronics.

3) European airlines weigh your carry on's...17.7 lbs maximum!

4) Most artwork exists in churches and they have modesty dress codes...No shoulders, no mid sections, no knees. Had to modify my wardrobe twice!

5) Washing machines- yes, Dryers- no! You get to hang your unmentionables outside to dry.
