Chris & Kelly's Travel Adventures

To all the girls who like the sparklies :).  We decided to do a light day (yeah right), so had a late leisurely start.  A nice cool morning walk in the rain to Ponte Vecchio.  Where I eagerly anticipated seeing (and pricing) beautiful Italian jewelry)...I had even saved birthday money for a small trinket.  We did see some very beautiful and intricate pieces of Italian jewelry in shop after shop that lined both sides of the bridge.   We had no idea the price tags would be so staggeringly high or that most of the shops either were owned by the same group or that they worked together to make sales.  Long story short there were no deals to be had, and Chris's credit card made a clean get away!  We then had lunch by the Arno river and headed back to our place and stopped at a few churches for a quick peek along the way.  We are pretty knackered (as Kiwi would describe) so this may be the last of our adventures today. :)
