Today's plans- Taxi to Lime Street Station in Liverpool, train to Llandudno, Wales. Check in to Premier Inn and maybe take a beach walk and dinner at Dylan's Seafood.
Reality- Train tracks washed out in a previous days rain storm causing us to be stranded 1/2 way to our destination with hundreds of other people. In the town of Chester.
After watching another train pass us by (not room for all the people stranded) we made the decision to find a cab to drive us the rest of the way. The rest of the day was lovely. Nice hotel, comfortable rooms, lovely beach town, great seaside beach walk and a very good local seafood dinner.
