Edinburgh, Scotland Chris/Kelly

Chris and I took a shuttle into Edinburgh center.  From there we walked down Central Rose Street, taking note of restaurants, pubs with funny names and beautiful flowers.  Central Rose Street is only for pedestrians, which is very nice.  Nice cup of tea & sweets at the Ginger Coo.

Next we headed up the hill to Edinburgh Castle

St. Margaret's Chapel is the only original building that was not destroyed during numerous invasions.

We then left the castle and walked down the Royal Mile to St. Giles Cathedral.

Continuing down The Royal Mile I stopped in Thistle Do Nicely for a christmas ornament...bag                 pipes that play a tune!  Before stopping for some proper Fish & Chips for lunch.

Lastly we jumped on a Hop on & Off Bus and rode around the city, making notes of things we'd like to see when we all returned 3 days later.

We can't remember what was for dinner, but i remember fondly this roly poly jam roll for dessert!
