Scottish Highlands

Today we are on a Scottish Highlands Tour with the Rabbie Tour Company.  Small van, maybe 16 people total.  8-10 stops today, but a 10+ hour day in total.

1st reststop.  We took a photo of the ladies room because Sandy & I couldn't figure out how to get in or out.  Coin operated turnstile to enter...hidden button to get out?  I crawled underneath!

Balloch, Alexandria

Rest and Be Thankful Pass

Next stop was the town of Inverary beside Loch Fyne.  We ate lunch at The George (establish 1776), browsed the town while Chris hiked up the hill to view the Inverary Castle.

2 of us decided on vension burgers and chips

1 had venison sausage and mash

1 had smoked salmon w/smoked salmon mousse

Sandy met a young man who REALLY wanted his picture taken!

We learned at the Tattoo dinner that the word Tablet really means dried out and very grainy fudge...a common Scottish dessert.
